Maureen Bologna

John Nairn

John Nairn recently joined the staff at Hidden Valley in 2009, and was formally the Superintendent at Willow Hollow for 24 years. In 1969 his family built and operated Blackwood Golf Course, and it was then that John's passion for turfgrass was seeded. He attended Penn State University and graduated with a degree in Turfgrass Science in 1976. With short stints at Arrowhead GC, Reading Bone Fertilizer, and Oak Terrace C.C., John finally found a home at Willow Hollow, and with the Distinct Golf Organization. With his knowledge in turfgrass Willow Hollow quickly became one of the most popular public courses in Berks County. In the two years that he has been at Hidden Valley, the course conditions have improved vastly, most notibly the greens and the overall appearance of the course.
