Since its opening in 1958, Hidden Valley Golf Course Pine Grove is situated in a premier Schuylkill County location. Accessible from major roads such as Interstate routes 81, 78 and local Routes 61 & 443 make it a convenient drive from all areas including neighboring counties of Berks, Lebanon and Dauphin counties.
Prior to opening, the land on which the course is situated was a dairy farm owned and operated by William L. Jones Sr. The conversion of the Guernsey Cattle farm became the flagship of the Distinct Golf Corporation of what today is five public golf courses. The family owned philosophy is “to provide the best possible conditions and amenities at the most competitive pricing”.
Fully matured trees and wooded areas outline the course with large greens and plenty of bunkers to offer an enjoyable, yet challenging round of golf to players of all skills.
Need Practice? Our 12 acre driving range has a fully irrigated natural grass teeing area with irrigated target greens located at different distances. During unfavorable weather conditions, artificial matting stations allow for practice as well. Our pro shop is well stocked with name brand clothing and balls as well as other necessities for the golfer. Custom club fitting is available from Titleist, Ping and Callaway. “On Line” booking allows you the convenience of making a tee time with us 24 hours a day 7 days a week from your phone, tablet or computer.
Our course features a snack bar where homemade soups and sandwich specials are served daily. You can also stop in our full service bar following your round to enjoy your favorite beverage. Our adjacent patio deck is a great place to just unwind while watching others play as it overlooks the 5th tee and 18th hole.
Hidden Valley staff stands ready to help make your event both successful and memorable. Our pledge is to work with you from beginning to end in every aspect from food, beverage and prize needs to “free” advertising of your event on our 5 course web site. Our tournament facilities include a picnic pavilion area, a gazebo that is centrally located to holes 5, 9 and 18 and our Chateau. Located on course property but far enough away from things makes our Chateau the ideal spot for an after tournament event. Inside seating along with 2 outside pavilions makes this fully functional for groups of 50 to 500. Consider the private atmosphere of the Chateau for your next business meeting prior to a round of golf!
If you’re interested in golf leagues, Hidden Valley has several options for seniors, even men’s and ladies’ 9 hole twilight golf nights. Yearly clinics are held as well for juniors, beginners or those in need of a tune up.
